SUN 12th FEB Fergus was back in Ireland, so I borrowed Mark and Carolyn's dogs and took them across to West Seattle for a mega-walk at Alki Beach Park. It is a very popular place on a sunny day - people come here to walk, jog, cycle, roller blade, fish, dive, eat, drink coffee, or just people-watch. |
|
It was a crisp, sunny February day. This is the view as I crossed Lake Washington on the 520 .

There's a beautiful sandy beach, and that's the Olympic Mountains in the background. |
| We walked for about an hour and then we stopped to pose for a photo. |

Tia.
How long is your tongue? |
| The view across Elliot Bay to Seattle is beautiful. |

After a couple of hours walking along the seafront, I drove on around the coast to Lincoln Park, where we walked for another hour and a half. |
| Maxi, waiting for me to throw the stick that's in my hand. |

The next weekend, I took the dogs again. |
