SUN 19th FEB 15years since our first date and Fergus was still away. So I consoled myself by walking it off with Maxi and Tia. Mark & Carolyn were happy to let me borrow their dogs again. |
|
We walked along the Burke Gilman Trail.

There's a lot of wildlife around.
Locals said this was a pair of bald eagles - hard to tell as they are flying very high. |
||
|
They also said this was a baby
beaver. There are beavers in this area of the
Northwest.
Personally, I can't see the tail in this photo as a beaver tail, and wonder instead if is it a large rat (well, they are voles really)? |

We ventured on to a trail through the back of Redmond. Tia was trained as a ??? dog and comes back immediately when called. | ||
| After over 4 hours of walking, we were all exhausted and glad to get back to the car. |
